Sprinting and running are fundamental and foundational to human movement!
If the athlete can’t move well and optimally for their sport, then they won’t perform well and can’t be relied on to make plays.
Getting good at a drill or running a faster test (ie. the 40 yard dash), does not equal a better athlete. Your top athletes have “bend”… all professional athletes have “bend” or they would not be professional athletes.
I help athletes discover and develop that “bend”. We place and emphasis on movement quality and efficiency. All of us are built different, and have different movement capacities.
My goal is always to help the athlete move better, to play better without ever thinking about it. And I’ve been doing this for almost 20 years.
Shawn is a sports enhancement specialist and operates as a Physical Preparation Coach to various athletes and teams in the surrounding Pittsburgh area. His specialties are focused in athletic speed development and resistance training utilizing various mediums for sport movements.
My training and sports experience makes has made me a constant student in the speed performance field.
