The Recovery Slow Burning Muscle Building Mind Altering Post Workout Drink!
That’s what we’ll call this cool drink!
That shit will sell like hot cakes!
I remember in my 20’s if it said, “Muscle Building” I was buying it!
If something said, “Lean” I was buying it!
If a protein shake said, “Recover to Build Better Abs” I was buying it!
I wasted so much time and money!
I wish someone would have either told me that flat out truth or smacked me in the head!
Actually both would have been fine!
When parents ask me about protein shakes or weight gainers I always have one question for them!
“What does Johnny Boy eat for breakfast”?
The answers are usually a random of things.
1. “He doesn’t”
3. “Pop Tarts”
4. “Good question because I have no idea”.
The list really does go on and the ONLY reason I ask them that is so they immediately understand the process and in hopes they don’t start to waste their money like I did for many years.
There are a lot of gyms that sell or let’s say re-sell supplements. There are GREAT supplements out there.
But if your nutrition is average your results will be less than average!
I remember crushing a protein shake full of promises and a white bagel to carb back up after all of my training sessions.
I also remember how bloated and horrible I felt after I drank and ate both.
Those shakes gave me instant gas! It was terrible for everyone who lived with me!
I can still remember that awful taste of those shakes.
Then one day I thought, “If I feel this awful, it tastes this bad why do I still drink them?”
Because that’s what I was told to do. You need to have a post protein shake after your session.
Once I ditched the “shakes” and began making my own I felt instantly better. Bye to the bloating!
I started to ask other people what they used, how they made their own and slowly began to put together what I thought was a Recovery Shake that you can drink anytime of the day!
Here’s the Magical Recipe! haha
1. Large Handful of Spinach Leaves
2. 2 Raw Eggs
3. 6 Strawberries
4. Big Squeeze of Johnson’s Dark Honey
5. 1 Avocado
10. Nut Meg
12. 6 oz of water
Blend that bad boy to the consistency you desire and have at it!
Drink it for breakfast, lunch, snack, after training or dinner! Whenever you want! It will fill you up!
You’re now 100% fully recovered!
Not really, but its a damn good healthy drink that has nothing but FUEL in it!
